Check in and Check out

What are your office hours? What time is check in and check out?

The Villa Botero By Casa Mojito office is open between 8:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. Check in is after 2:00 p.m. Check out is before 11:00am.

I won’t arrive until after 7:00 p.m. – what do I do?

If you arrive after 7pm, don't worry. It's posible, just contact us by mail or WhatsApp (+507 6012-7074) to organize your chek-in.

Late check-out is posible?

Late check-out can be posible, the price is $10/hour after noon. Of course, it depends on availability of the room.

Payment

How can I pay?

The payment of the balance and food are in cash. We don't have credit card machine.

Do you have ATMs in Santa Clara?

There is no ATM in Santa Clara but, there are some at 6kms. If you don't have a car, we can bring you.

How long should I stay in Santa Clara?

How long?

It depends of your wishes, from our Boutique Hotel, you can enjoy the nicest beach of the Pacific coast, visit El Valle de Anton, practise water sports and more. A stay between 3 to 6 nights is the most common. We are also on the road of Boquete, Boca Chica, Santa Clara, Pedasi..., we can be a good stop for one or 2 nights before to take your plane. We offer transfer to the international Airport.(additional cost)

Do you have free WiFi?

Free High Speed Wi-Fi (135mbts/s) is available in the rooms and commun areas.

Do the rooms have hot water?

Yes! Unlike many hotels in Panama, all of our rooms have hot water showers and hot water in the bathroom sinks.

Do you have hairdryers?

Yes. An airdryer is available in all rooms.

Is the water safe to drink?

Yes, but we recommend bottled water if you aren’t used to the water in Panama!

Parking

Do you have parking?

Yes, you have two options. You can park your car in the street (No problems since we are here in 5 years) or for the night, put the car inside.

The beach

How far is the beach?

The Santa Clara beach is 800 meters from our Boutique Hotel Villa Botero by Casa Mojito, 10 mn walking or 1 mn by car.

Is there some restaurants and bars on the beach?

Yes, on the Santa Clara beach, you can find 3 restaurantes with very good food, fishes, lobsters or meat. There always rent some little "cabañas" con hammoks and chairs to be on the shade. They all sell drinks.

Can I practise waters sports?

Yes, some waters sports are available in the beach like Paddle, Kayaks, Snorkling. Jet Ski in the high season too.

Is the beach crowded?

Santa Clara beach is a quiet beach because there is no big resort on it. In the low season, it's like a desert beach in the week. Some people on the week-end. Of course, in the high season, there is more people but the beach is very large (more than 4kms) so it's easy to find a very quiet place. Everybody are near the restaurants.

Can I take big walks on the beach?

Yes, the beach is very large, and it's easy to walk on it. You can walk hours, if you like.

Food

Breakfast

We serve a different home made breakfast with only fresh products.

Lunch and diner

For lunch and diner, we propose some options for the long stay like home made burgers, salads, home made gnocchis... There is too 4 restaurantes at walking distance from Villa Botero Boutique Hotel.

Safety

Is Panama safe?

Panama is the safest Central America country. Like everywhere, take some precaution is recommanded but, never any of our clients had any problem.

Is Santa Clara safe?

Santa Clara is very safe, we have a police station in the entrance and you can walk around without any problem.
